Snow Storm 2010

Well, I guess if you want to call it a snow storm then you probably had snow. We however got nada! We did get ice here in Collierville and a tiny bit of snow, but not enough to do anything with! Tim and I were a little disappointed Friday morning when it did start snowing that we wouldn't get to play with Addy in the snow. Her GiGi and Grandaddy had came to get her on Thursday and take her to Lexington with them. Of course by the time it got done "snowing" here Addy wouldn't have had anything to play in! Of course in Lexington, she has gotten to go outside and play because they got LOTS of snow! My parents said she has been playing nonstop outside and they even took her sledding! I wish I could have been there with her (even though I couldn't have done the sledding!).

Tim and I have had a long relaxing weekend without kiddy here. I've been able to get some more junk taken out of the guest bedroom. Hopefully we will be able to get things painted in a couple of weeks. Addy is super excited about her "new" bedroom and her new bedding. She wants to look at it ALL the time.

Addy's birthday is coming up soon and she can't stop talking about it! She asks about her birthday and party every day. We have told her that it isn't until March and we still have to make it through February, but I don't think she cares. She knows that it will be a Chucky Cheese. She is trying to make out her guest list, so she tells me every day who we need to invite. I think it is way too cute!

Potty training is still coming along. She is doing somewhat well and hopefully by her 3rd birthday she will at least be out of pull ups. But of course I don't get my hopes up too high since my child is a little stubborn!

I've been feeling pretty good here lately. I have finally got to the stage that I'm really tired all the time! I think the pregnancy, having a 3 year old, and teaching is really starting to wear on me during the week, but of course I wouldn't have it any other way! :) Stone is over a pound now. He moves around all the time. I think he moves around more than Addy did, but he doesn't kick or punch as hard (yet). Tim really hasn't felt Stone too much. Even when he is moving its so light that Tim can't feel him, but I can. Trust me though I won't care too much if he just stays at the intensity it is now even though Tim won't get to feel him that much. I much rather not been in too much pain!

First Blog of the New Year!

We have been busy the first few weeks of 2010! I am now in the process of clearing out the guest bedroom to get it ready to move Addy in by Spring Break. Spring Break seems so far away, but I know it will be here before we know it! I have picked out her bedding for the new room. She is going to get her princess room for Princess Addison! :) Of course I can't get much done during the week from just being run down so I'm pushing hard on the weekends to clear things out. We have a lot of deciding to do about where to put some of these things! We need a bigger house, but I guess that will have to be later! After we get Addy in her new room, I will finally get to start on Stone's room. I have picked out the colors and bedding for his room, but can't do anything until Addy's room is complete!

We have been working really hard on potty training. Addy did really well this week. She even went a couple of days at Ms. Martha's without being wet! We were so proud of her! Of course, we are still working on the pooping part! :) She might be potty trained before her 3rd birthday (knocking on wood!).

Tim has gotten started back with grad school. He had his first class last week and his first weekend class will be next weekend. He is working hard trying to get all of his work done! I know he will be happy when he is finally finished!

I have been feeling pretty good the past few weeks. Other than being tired from working and chasing an almost 3 year old! I will be 25 weeks along on Monday. Time is going by so fast! He has been moving around like crazy the past week. Addy just keeps telling Tim and I that she has baby Stone in her belly and there is nothing in mine! She is too cute about it all! I know she is going to be a wonderful big sister and I can't wait to see the two of them together!
